Research on incremental nonlinear dynamic inverse control method for turboshaft engine based on Jacobi matrix

open access: yesJournal of Low Frequency Noise, Vibration and Active Control, 2023
In order to enhance the anti-interference ability of the speed to external load and achieve the rapid response control for turboshaft engine of next-generation helicopters, an incremental nonlinear dynamic inverse (INDI) control method for turboshaft ...

Some new results for Jacobi matrix polynomials

open access: yesFilomat, 2013
The main aim of this paper is to obtain some recurrence relations and generating matrix function for Jacobi matrix polynomials (JMP). Also, various integral representations satisfied by JMP are derived.

Hamilton–Jacobi equations for finite-rank matrix inference [PDF]

open access: yesThe Annals of Applied Probability, 2020
We compute the large-scale limit of the free energy associated with the problem of inference of a finite-rank matrix. The method follows the principle put forward in arXiv:1811.01432 which consists in identifying a suitable Hamilton-Jacobi equation satisfied by the limit free energy.

Analytical properties of the two-variables Jacobi matrix polynomials with applications

open access: yesDemonstratio Mathematica, 2021
In the current study, we introduce the two-variable analogue of Jacobi matrix polynomials. Some properties of these polynomials such as generating matrix functions, a Rodrigue-type formula and recurrence relations are also derived.

Darboux transformation of symmetric Jacobi matrices and Toda lattices

open access: yesFrontiers in Applied Mathematics and Statistics
Let J be a symmetric Jacobi matrix associated with some Toda lattice. We find conditions for Jacobi matrix J to admit factorization J = LU (or J = 𝔘𝔏) with L (or 𝔏) and U (or 𝔘) being lower and upper triangular two-diagonal matrices, respectively.

ELEMENTS: A high-order finite element library in C++

open access: yesSoftwareX, 2019
We discuss the creation and implementation of a generalized library, named ELEMENTS, of mathematical functions for supporting a very broad range of element types including: linear, quadratic, and cubic serendipity elements in 2D and 3D; high-order ...

A Comparison of Sequential and GPU Implementations of Iterative Methods to Compute Reachability Probabilities [PDF]

open access: yesElectronic Proceedings in Theoretical Computer Science, 2012
We consider the problem of computing reachability probabilities: given a Markov chain, an initial state of the Markov chain, and a set of goal states of the Markov chain, what is the probability of reaching any of the goal states from the initial state ...

Balanced Metric and Berezin Quantization on the Siegel-Jacobi Ball [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
We determine the matrix of the balanced metric of the Siegel-Jacobi ball and its inverse. We calculate the scalar curvature, the Ricci form and the Laplace-Beltrami operator of this manifold.

Matrix valued Jacobi polynomials

open access: yesBulletin des Sciences Mathématiques, 2003
The author finds a matrix valued weight for Jacobi orthogonal polynomials, which satisfy an explicit differential equation of Jabobi type. An application to spherical functions is discussed. The Bochner problem of finding all families of orthogonal polynomials that are eigenfunctions of some second order differential operator is considered.
