Algebraic description of Jacobians isogeneous to certain Prym varieties with polarization (1,2)
For a class of non-hyperelliptic genus 3 curves C which are 2-fold coverings of elliptic curves E, we give an explicit algebraic description of all birationally non-equivalent genus 2 curves whose Jacobians are degree 2 isogeneous to the Prym varieties associated to such coverings.

Tautological rings on Jacobian varieties of curves with automorphisms and generalized Prym varieties

Higher dimensional Shimura varieties in the Prym loci of ramified double covers
Abstract In this paper, we construct Shimura subvarieties of dimension bigger than one of the moduli space Apδ${\mathsf {A}}^\delta _{p}$ of δ‐polarized abelian varieties of dimension p, which are generically contained in the Prym loci of (ramified) double covers.

THE INTERMEDIATE JACOBIAN OF A THREE-DIMENSIONAL CONIC BUNDLE IS A PRYM VARIETY
Mathematics of the USSR-Sbornik, 1985The intermediate Jacobians play an essential role in birational geometry of algebraic 3-folds. A conic bundle \(p : X \to S\) is the first case of 3-folds with well-known geometry of its intermediate Jacobian [\textit{A. N. Tyurin}, Usp. Mat. Nauk 27, No.5 (167), 3-50 (1972; Zbl 0256.14019)].

Variétés de Prym associées aux revêtements n-cycliques d'une courbe hyperelliptique
, 2003Let H a hyperelliptic curve and let f: C --> H be a cyclic etale covering of degree n, associated to a line bundle in Pic^0 (H) of order n . We prove that the Prym variety P=Prym(C / H) is isomorphic, as abelian varieties, to a product of jacobians when ...
