Jacobson radical algebras with Gelfand–Kirillov dimension two over countable fields
It is shown that for every countable field K, there is a finitely generated graded Jacobson radical algebra over K of Gelfand–Kirillov dimension two.

ABSTRACT CPA enabling competencies underpin the human skills and professional values that all future accountants should possess. Nevertheless, to date, the discourse is limited within the scholarship of teaching and learning on how to best inculcate these competencies in future accountants.

The Jacobson radical of the endomorphism ring of a projective module.
In a recently published paper [3], the elements of the Jacobson radical of a ring of row-finite matrices over an arbitrary ring R R are characterized as those matrices with entries in the Jacobson radical of R R which ...

In an unfenced mixed‐use savanna landscape in Namibia, we compared realized densities of leopards and cheetahs estimated using spatial capture–recapture models with prey‐based carrying capacity predictions. Leopard densities exceeded predictions based on wild prey alone but closely matched livestock‐supplemented models, suggesting that vulnerable ...

On Jacobson radical of ternary Γ−semirings
In this article, we first introduce the concept of a new type of Jacobson radical of a ternary Γ−semiring T which is defined by semiregularity. Several characterization theorems of this type of Jacobson radical are given.

A drag on the ticket? Estimating top‐of‐the‐ticket effects on down‐ballot races
Abstract Campaign staff, journalists, and political scientists commonly attribute the poor performances of a party's down‐ballot candidates to low‐quality or extreme top‐of‐the‐ticket candidates, but empirical evidence on this conventional wisdom is scant. We estimate the effect of candidate quality and ideology in gubernatorial and U.S.

The oscillatory response of the electroretinogram and neuronal adaptation
Abstract After more than 50 years, there still remains a challenge and an interest to know more as well as extend and deepen our understanding of the small rapid wavelets, the oscillatory potentials (OPs), of the electroretinogram (ERG) and the neuronal adaptation of the retina.

On the Jacobson radical and semisimplicity of a semiring
Based on the minimal and simple representations, we introduce two Jacobson-type Hoehnke radicals, m-radical and s-radical, of a semiring $S$. Every minimal (simple) $S$-semimodule is a quotient of $S$ by a regular right congruence (maximal) $\mu$ on $S ...

Abstract Background Previous research has associated peer deviant behaviours with lower academic performance in adolescents. However, the mediation and moderation mechanisms underlying this relationship, particularly the moderating role of educational expectations, require further exploration.
