On the nilpotency of the Jacobson radical for noetherian rings
Krause H. On the nilpotency of the Jacobson radical for noetherian rings. Archiv der Mathematik. 1998;70(6):435-437.Let R be a right noetherian ring of Krull dimension k and denote by J its Jacobson radical. Using a new definition of the powers J(alpha) (

The Jacobson Radical of a Propositional Theory [PDF]
Alongside the analogy between maximal ideals and complete theories, the Jacobson radical carries over from ideals of commutative rings to theories of propositional calculi.

A note on the Jacobson radical [PDF]
In this paper we solve a problem of Divinsky to represent the Jacobson radical as a lower radical class.

A GENERALIZATION OF THE JACOBSON RADICAL [PDF]
For an associative ring \(R\) with identity let \(J(R) \) be the Jacobson radical of \(R\) and \(N(R)\) the non-left-invertible elements of \(R\). \(R\) has stable range one if for any \(a,b\in R\) such that \(Ra+Rb=R\) there exists \(y\in R\) such that \(a+yb\) is a unit.

Jacobson radical of filtered algebras [PDF]
Using elementary graded ring theory methods we show that the Jacobson radical of certain filtered algebras is zero. We then use this to propose a simpler and more general proof of one of the main results contained in [1].

JACOBSON RADICAL ALGEBRAS WITH QUADRATIC GROWTH [PDF]
We show that over every countable algebraically closed field K there exists a finitely generated K-algebra that is Jacobson radical, infinite-dimensional, generated by two elements, graded and has quadratic growth.

A Jacobson Radical Decomposition of the Fano-Snowflake Configuration
The Fano-Snowflake, a specific configuration associated with the smallest ring of ternions $R_{diamondsuit}$ (arXiv:0803.4436 and arXiv:0806.3153), admits an interesting partitioning with respect to the Jacobson radical of $R_{diamondsuit}$. The totality

Kurosh-Amitsur Right Jacobson Radical of Type 0 for Right Near-Rings [PDF]
By a near-ring we mean a right near-ring. J0r, the right Jacobson radical of type 0, was introduced for near-rings by the first and second authors. In this paper properties of the radical J0r are studied. It is shown that J0r is a Kurosh-Amitsur radical

A radical for right near-rings: The right Jacobson radical of type-0
The notions of a right quasiregular element and right modular right ideal in a near-ring are initiated. Based on these J0r(R), the right Jacobson radical of type-0 of a near-ring R is introduced. It is obtained that J0r is a radical map and N(R)⊆J0r(R),
