Implementation and performance analysis of advanced IT services based on open source JAIN SLEE

open access: yes2011 IEEE 36th Conference on Local Computer Networks, 2011
The standard framework proposed by the JAIN SLEE specifications is emerging as a viable alternative for the development of advanced telecom services. The Mobicents JSLEE platform is the only open source implementation of those specifications. Its tuning is not trivial since it relies on several Java technologies implemented in multiple abstract layers.

Using JAIN SLEE as an Interaction and Policy Manager for Enabler-based Services in Next Generation Networks [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal of Electronics and Telecommunications, 2010
Using JAIN SLEE as an Interaction and Policy Manager for Enabler-based Services in Next Generation Networks The IP Multimedia Subsystem is a telecommunications framework with a standard architecture for the provision of services. While the services themselves have not been standardised, standards do exist for basic technologies that can be re ...

JAIN SLEE vs SIP Servlet Which is the best choice for an IMS application server?

2007 Australasian Telecommunication Networks and Applications Conference, 2007
The IP multimedia system (IMS) is the next generation network architecture in telecommunication. Vendors are promoting two Java application server standards (JAIN SLEE and SIP Servlet) for the services layer of the IMS. This paper outlines the aims, objectives and features of the two standards.

Broadening JAIN-SLEE with a Service Description Language and Asynchronous Web Services

open access: yes, 2010
Meshing up telecommunication and IT resources seems to be the real challenge for supporting the evolution towards the next generation of Web Services. In the telecom world, JAIN-SLEE (JAIN Service Logic Execution Environment) is an emerging standard specification for Java service platforms targeted to host value added services, composed of telecom and ...
