Spin‐Split Edge States in Metal‐Supported Graphene Nanoislands Obtained by CVD

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Combining STM measurements and ab‐initio calculations, we show that zig‐zag edges in graphene nanoislands grown on Ni(111) by CVD retrieve their spin‐polarized edge states after intercalation of a few monolayers of Au. ABSTRACT Spin‐split states localized on zigzag edges have been predicted for different free‐standing graphene nanostructures.

Mitochondria‐Targeted Nanomotor: H2S‐Driven Cascade Therapy for Hepatocellular Carcinoma

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A mitochondrial‐targeted nanomotor integrates photodynamic therapy, mild photothermal therapy, and enzyme dynamic therapy into a self‐amplifying cascade through H2S‐driven metabolic reprogramming. Abstract Despite advances in combination therapies for cancer treatment, most strategies rely on modular‐additive designs that lack dynamic molecular cues to

Recent Advances in Collective Behaviors of Micro/Nanomotor Swarms

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
This review describes the driving forces behind collective motion, explores the self‐organization of micro/nano swarms across zero‐dimensional (0D), one‐dimensional (1D), two‐dimensional (2D), and three‐dimensional (3D) spaces, and highlights their potential in drug delivery, environmental monitoring, and smart devices.

On subregion holographic complexity and renormalization group flows

open access: yes, 2017
We investigate subregion holographic complexity in the context of renormalization group flow geometries. We use both the Poinca\'re slicing and the Janus ansatz as holographic duals to renormalization group flows in the boundary conformal field theory ...

Serotonergic System‐Targeted Nucleic Acid Hydrogel Coordinates Excitability Restoration and Circuit Reconstruction for Spinal Cord Injury Therapy

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
The study reports a DNA/RNA heteroduplex hydrogel (SeroPTEN‐CG) that undergoes DNase‐mediated hydrogel‐to‐nanogel transition for spinal cord injury therapy by targeting the serotonergic system, combining 5‐hydroxytryptamine (5‐HT)‐mediated excitability restoration to reactivate dormant interneurons with phosphatase and tensin homolog (PTEN)‐targeted ...

The Emerging World of JAK Inhibitors

open access: yesNepal Journal of Dermatology, Venereology & Leprology
The Janus Kinase inhibitors are a new emerging class of small molecules. These target the Janus Kinase proteins located on the cell membrane. Janus Kinase proteins regulate the cellular transcription of several proteins and act as mediators in several ...
