ADSORPTION ESSAYS OF PALLADIUM IN MODIFIED SILICA GEL WITH THIOURONIUM GROUPS: EXPERIMENTAL AND THEORICAL STUDIES [PDF]
Indexación: Web of Science; ScieloThe silylant 3-cloropropyltriethoxysilyl was anchored over silica gel in anhydrous conditions in order to react with thiourea to obtain modified silica gel with thiouronium. The aim to obtain an inorganic support that is

A 2MASS Analysis of the Stability of Southern Bok Globules [PDF]
We used near-infrared 2MASS data to construct visual extinction maps of a sample of Southern Bok globules utilizing the NICE method. We derived radial extinction profiles of dense cores identified in the globules and analyzed their stability against ...

Fourier-Mukai and Nahm transforms for holomorphic triples on elliptic curves [PDF]
We define a Fourier-Mukai transform for a triple consisting of two holomorphic vector bundles over an elliptic curve and a homomorphism between them. We prove that in some cases the transform preserves the natural stability condition for a triple.

Trihyperkahler reduction and instanton bundles on CP^3
A trisymplectic structure on a complex 2n-manifold is a triple of holomorphic symplectic forms such that any linear combination of these forms has constant rank 2n, n or 0, and degenerate forms in $\Omega$ belong to a non-degenerate quadric hypersurface.

Nahm Transform For Periodic Monopoles And N=2 Super Yang-Mills Theory [PDF]
We study Bogomolny equations on $R^2\times S^1$. Although they do not admit nontrivial finite-energy solutions, we show that there are interesting infinite-energy solutions with Higgs field growing logarithmically at infinity.

Transfer function-noise modeling and spatial interpolation to evaluate the risk of extreme (shallow) water-table levels in the Brazilian Cerrados [PDF]
Water regimes in the Brazilian Cerrados are sensitive to climatological disturbances and human intervention. The risk that critical water-table levels are exceeded over long periods of time can be estimated by applying stochastic methods in modeling the ...

Stable Higgs bundles over positive principal elliptic fibrations
Let $M$ be a compact complex manifold of dimension at least three and $\Pi : M\rightarrow X$ a positive principal elliptic fibration, where $X$ is a compact K\"ahler orbifold. Fix a preferred Hermitian metric on $M$.

Impacts of Low‐Level Jets on Moisture Transport to the Pantanal, Brazil
The moisture transports from the tropics to the subtropics by the low‐level jets (LLJs) east of the Andes crossing the Pantanal region. Four LLJs, east of the Andes, were identified and selected with correspondent Lagrangian moisture transport. The LLJ moisture source regions contribute to Pantanal (~63.5%) and precipitation increased (~30%) during LLJ

On the degree of Polar Transformations -- An approach through Logarithmic Foliations
We investigate the degree of the polar transformations associated to a certain class of multi-valued homogeneous functions. In particular we prove that the degree of the pre-image of generic linear spaces by a polar transformation associated to a ...

Deep Learning‐Based Skin Lesion Classification
High‐frequency ultrasound (HFUS) is valuable for assessing skin lesions, supporting diagnosis, treatment monitoring, and surgical planning. This study evaluates deep learning models for binary classification of HFUS images acquired in B‐mode and Doppler mode.
