Conversational AI Agents: The Effect of Process and Outcome Variation on Anthropomorphism and Trust
ABSTRACT Organisations increasingly deploy conversational AI agents (CAs) in agentic roles where behavioural variations are inevitable. Prior work often conflates two distinct forms of variation: outcome variation (where success fluctuates) and process variation (where the path to completion varies).

Stabilization of L‐PBF Ni50.7Ti49.3 under low‐cycle loading was investigated. Recoverable strain after cycling was dependent on the amount of applied load. Recovery ratio was 53.4% and 35.1% at intermediate and high load, respectively. The maximum total strain reached 10.3% at a high load of 1200 MPa.

The metadata ecosystem and AI: Enabling FAIR and AI‐ready data
Abstract Reproducibility is a foundational tenet of science. As artificial intelligence (AI) becomes increasingly embedded across science, the need to accurately document the provenance, structure, and behavior of training data, models, and workflows grows correspondingly. Metadata, understood as explicit and structured knowledge about data and related

Weaver: Fuzzing JavaScript Engines at the JavaScript-WebAssembly Boundary
The security of modern JavaScript (JS) engines is critical since they provide the primary defense mechanism for executing untrusted code on the web. The recent integration of WebAssembly (Wasm) has transformed these engines into complex polyglot environments, creating a novel attack surface at the JS-Wasm interaction boundary due to the distinct type ...

Projected warming and drying raise concerns about the resilience of stress‐adapted ecosystems, including the Brazilian Campo Rupestre, an exceptionally biodiverse mountaintop grassland mosaic on ancient, nutrient‐poor substrates. Here, we combine field‐based trait data and long‐term remote sensing to assess the functional structure and temporal ...

Cyberinfrastructure to support ecological forecasting challenges
Abstract Ecological forecasting challenges, formalized efforts to empower the ecology community to develop near‐term iterative forecasts of yet‐to‐be‐collected data, are a powerful tool to advance predictive capacities in ecology. The National Ecological Observatory Network (NEON) Ecological Forecasting Challenge, which has processed over 82 million ...
