ABSTRACT Evaluating synthetic data produced by generative models remains a critical challenge in sensitive domains such as healthcare and finance. Ensuring that such data is ‘faithful’ to real data is essential for downstream applications and decision‐making, including regulatory compliance. This paper introduces an AI‐powered interactive visual system—

Postembryonic development of the predatory strike mechanics in a praying mantis (Insecta: Mantodea)
Praying mantis forelegs capture prey using specific kinematic and kinetic traits that change in size and morphology during postembryonic growth and sexual dimorphism influences these dynamics. Strike forces grow hyperallometrically with body weight; larger mantises show longer strike durations, slower joint angular velocities and increased tibia ...

With Web 2.0 the dynamic web got to a reality. With it, some new concepts arived, like the use of asynchronous calls to receive missing data to render a website, instead of requesting a full new page to the server. For this task, and in the recent years, developers use mostly the JSON format for the interchange of data, than XML.

ABSTRACT Fragmentary preservation represents a fundamental limitation in palaeoanthropological research, particularly for postcranial elements where symmetry cannot be exploited and large portions of bone are frequently missing. Although a wide range of virtual reconstruction methods exist, many rely on strong anatomical priors, localized interpolation,

The Deadman River watershed (British Columbia, Canada) was severely impacted by the Sparks Lake Fire in 2021. Timelapse photogrammetry reveals sharp post‐fire channel widening and increase in migration rate. Through multispectral remote‐sensing analysis, these morphodynamic changes are related to burn severity affecting the watershed.

Security Assessment of Private Package Repositories: An Experience on Acc‐Py at CERN
ABSTRACT The introduction of package managers had a huge impact on software development, as they facilitate dependency management and the access to reusable code components. However, reliance on centralized repositories introduces security risks, as they are increasingly exploited in supply chain attacks.
