A technique to record jaw relations for distally edentulous dental arches
Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry, 1973Abstract Plaster jaw relation records for partially edentulous dental arches are accurate, inexpensive, and durable; they are quick and easy to make. The use of occlusion rims for making jaw relation records usually requires an additional appointment with the patient as compared to the number necessary when plaster records are made.

[Reproducibility of the jaw relation record].
Deutsche zahnarztliche Zeitschrift, 1979The jaw relations in edentulous patients were determined with the use of the gotic arch and wax bite blocks. To compare the different methods interchangeable tracing devices and wax registrations were used. This apparatus was alternatingly used by various investigators, but with the same base plate.
