Genome-wide identification and characterization of JAZ gene family in upland cotton (Gossypium hirsutum)

open access: yesScientific Reports, 2017
Plant JAZ (Jasmonate ZIM-domain) proteins play versatile roles in multiple aspects of plant development and defense. However, little is known about the JAZ family in allotetraploid upland cotton (Gossypium hirsutum) so far.

'Go to the forest and move': 1960s American rock music as electronic pastoral [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
In his song ‘Hijack’ (1970), the Jefferson Airplane’s Paul Kantner demanded “free minds, free dope, free bodies, free music.” Expressed in this way, the preoccupations of the 1960s counterculture were largely humanist and anthropocentric.

JAZ OLAMIGA KICHIK SAYOHAT

open access: yes, 2023
Jaz musiqa ijrochiligi oddiy xalqimiz uchun bir oz begona san’at turidek ko‘rinadi. Lekin, uning sir-asrorlarini bilib, yuksak san’at turi sifatida baholovchi tinglovchilarimiz ham kam emas. Ushbu maqola: jaz musiqa san’atini endi o‘rganayotgan talabalar, aynan uning yo‘nalishlari bilan qiziqqan tinglovchilar, qolaversa, ushbu san’at borasida bir oz ma’

Divergent Regulatory Effects of Jasmonic Acid on Tomato Lycopene Biosynthesis Under Light and Dark Conditions

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 26, 8 May 2026.
This study reveals the mechanism by which jasmonic acid (JA) regulates lycopene synthesis under light and dark conditions. In light, JA activates SlMYC2, which suppresses SlPIF1a and promotes SlPSY1 expression. In darkness, JA induces the acetyltransferase SlNATA1, which acetylates the dark‐accumulated SlPIF1a, thereby repressing SlPSY1 expression ...

Metabolic Reprogramming Analysis of Wheat Response to Low Temperature Stress Under Nitrogen Supply

open access: yesFood and Energy Security, Volume 15, Issue 3, May/June 2026.
Low temperature stress triggers a defense network that maintains growth at the expense of inhibiting photosynthesis and chlorophyll synthesis. Temperature recovery effectively repairs low temperature‐induced damage and enhances stress resistance, while nitrogen supply can further augment these protective processes to strengthen cold tolerance ...

Identification, molecular characterization and expression of JAZ genes in Lycoris aurea.

open access: yesPLoS ONE, 2020
Jasmonates (JAs) are key phytohormones involved in regulation of plant growth and development, stress responses, and secondary metabolism. It has been reported that treatments with JAs could increase the contents of Amaryllidaceae alkaloids in ...

Preventive Effect of Gallic Acid‐Loaded Carrageenan Nanoparticles Against Cerebral Ischemia/Reperfusion Injury in Rat: Modulation of Oxidative Pathway

open access: yesFood Science &Nutrition, Volume 14, Issue 5, May 2026.
Oral pretreatment with GA‐CG NPs provided remarkable neuroprotection in a rat model of cerebral ischemia/reperfusion. GA‐CG NPs improved cognition and attenuated depressive‐like behaviors, infarct volume, MDA content, as well as increased dopamine and antioxidant status (SOD, CAT, GPx, GSH) compared with free gallic acid.

Gene Expression Patterns Regulating Peanut Reproductive Phenology

open access: yesPlant Direct, Volume 10, Issue 5, May 2026.
ABSTRACT Peanut reproduction is foundational for crop yield, breeding, and evolution. However, gene regulation underlying peanut flowering pattern and timing has received limited attention. Cultivated peanut (Arachis hypogaea L.) shows two distinct flowering patterns between two subspecies, with ssp.

Population Pharmacokinetics and Pharmacokinetics‐Pharmacodynamics Analyses of Elafibranor to Support Dose Selection in Primary Biliary Cholangitis

open access: yesCPT: Pharmacometrics &Systems Pharmacology, Volume 15, Issue 5, May 2026.
ABSTRACT Elafibranor 80 mg/day is approved for second‐line primary biliary cholangitis (PBC) treatment. We present pharmacokinetic (PK) analyses of elafibranor and its metabolite, GFT1007, and pharmacokinetic‐pharmacodynamic (PKPD) analyses describing the relationship between their exposure and responses in alkaline phosphatase (ALP) and total ...

Host preferences of non‐native Acalolepta aesthetica (Coleoptera: Cerambycidae) on the Island of Hawaiʻi

open access: yesAgricultural and Forest Entomology, Volume 28, Issue 2, Page 149-159, May 2026.
Acalolepta aesthetica is a non‐native cerambycid established on the Island of Hawaiʻi. We show its preferred hosts are woody species that are highly valued for agricultural, horticultural and cultural uses. We used a resource selection function to estimate host preferences and found that kukui (Aleurites moluccanus), the state tree, was preferred ...
