Projection‐based estimators for matrix/tensor‐valued data
Abstract A general approach for extending estimators to matrix‐ and tensor‐valued data is proposed. The extension is based on using random projections to project out dimensions of a tensor and then computing a multivariate estimator for each projection. The mean of the obtained set of estimates is used as the final, joint estimate. In some basic cases,

ABSTRACT We study the target return strategy (TRS), which exits the market once the return reaches a preset target. We show that the holding‐period return (HPR) cannot mean‐variance dominate TRS, but TRS can mean‐variance dominate HPR. We theoretically analyze TRS and quantitatively illustrate that training targets by a mean‐variance utility ...

Supporting Literacy Through the Justice and Dialogic Education (JADE) Framework
Justice and Dialogic Education (JADE) Framework: Stances, Value Orientations, and Pedagogical Dispositions. ABSTRACT This paper introduces the Justice and Dialogic Education (JADE) framework, which integrates dialogic instruction with justice‐oriented pedagogies to foster transformative classroom environments.

Sustainability transition theories: Perpetuating or breaking with the status quo
Abstract How scientists frame problems impact the solutions offered. Since the late 1940s development has been equated with modernization, technology adoption, and economic growth. Contrasting to this technocentric view, an ecocentric view has developed since the 1960s.

The Role of Place in Social Prescribing: A State‐of‐the‐Art Literature Review
Introduction: Social prescribing seeks to connect people to community‐based resources, to improve their health and wellbeing. It is often framed as a response to health inequalities. However, the impact of place‐based differences is seldom considered. As social prescribing depends on local resources, this is a significant knowledge gap.

A refined form of the Jensen–Mercer inequality has recently been introduced in the literature. Utilizing this improved inequality, we derive several new variants of the Hermite–Hadamard–Mercer type inequality, along with related estimates involving the ...

Some Hermite–Jensen–Mercer type inequalities for k-Caputo-fractional derivatives and related results
In this paper, certain Hermite–Hadamard–Mercer type inequalities are proved via k-Caputo fractional derivatives. We established some new k-Caputo fractional derivatives inequalities with Hermite–Hadamard–Mercer type inequalities for differentiable ...

The connection between generalized convexity and analytic operators is deeply rooted in functional analysis and operator theory. To put the ideas of preinvexity and convexity even closer together, we might state that preinvex functions are extensions of convex functions. Integral inequalities are developed using different types of order relations, each

A Fractal Approach to Hermite–Hadamard Type Inequalities via Generalized Beta Function
The main aim of this manuscript is to explore the connection between fractal geometry and convexity, highlighting the mathematical appeal of fractals. Using the beta function, we introduce a new class of generalized Hermite–Hadamard (HH) type inequalities.

New improvement of the converse jensen inequality
We give a new refinement of the converse Jensen inequality for linear functionals as well as improvements of some related results. Especially, we give two refinements of the converse Hölder inequality for functionals and a refinement of the converse ...
