On the Mean‐Field Limit of Consensus‐Based Methods
ABSTRACT Consensus‐based optimization (CBO) employs a swarm of particles evolving as a system of stochastic differential equations (SDEs). Recently, it has been adapted to yield a derivative free sampling method referred to as consensus‐based sampling (CBS). In this paper, we investigate the “mean‐field limit” of a class of consensus methods, including

Some Dynamic Inequalities of Hilbert’s Type
This paper is concerned with deriving some new dynamic Hilbert-type inequalities on time scales. The basic idea in proving the results is using some algebraic inequalities, Hölder’s inequality and Jensen’s inequality, on time scales. As a special case of

Asymptotics of Transmit Antenna Selection: Impact of Multiple Receive Antennas
Consider a fading Gaussian MIMO channel with $N_\mathrm{t}$ transmit and $N_\mathrm{r}$ receive antennas. The transmitter selects $L_\mathrm{t}$ antennas corresponding to the strongest channels.

Personalized Differential Privacy for Ridge Regression Under Output Perturbation
ABSTRACT The increased application of machine learning (ML) in sensitive domains requires protecting the training data through privacy frameworks, such as differential privacy (DP). Traditional DP enforces a uniform privacy level ε$$ \varepsilon $$, which bounds the maximum privacy loss that each data point in the dataset is allowed to incur.

REFINEMENT OF JENSEN'S INEQUALITY WITH APPLICATIONS TO CYCLIC MIXED SYMMETRIC MEANS AND CAUCHY MEANS
Generalized refinement of Jensen's inequality is given. Appplications are done for cyclic mixed symmetric means and Cauchy means.

Overexploitation can counteract top‐down control and the paradox of enrichment in simple food chains
Because of its high abundance or its high feeding intensity, a consumer can overexploit its resource by consuming it on a shorter timescale than resource regeneration. While this short‐term overexploitation is widespread in nature, its general implications for biotic control patterns and ecosystem stability are not clear.

Refined Wirtinger-type integral inequality
Based on the extreme value conditions of a multiple variables function, a new class of Wirtinger-type double integral inequality is established in this paper.

A Framework for Understanding and Evaluating Localization: The Case of HelpAge International
ABSTRACT Many transnational non‐governmental organizations (TNGOs) are reevaluating their organizational forms and norms as they pursue localization. Localization itself is a contested and multifaceted concept, however, complicating the design, implementation, and evaluation of localization efforts.

ABSTRACT Worldwide, artificial intelligence‐driven technologies, including robotics and autonomous systems (RAS), are adopted to address manpower shortages in long‐term care. However, their effective use requires a reasonable degree of policy capacity across individual‐, organisational‐ and system‐levels.
