Further sharpening of Jensen's inequality

Statistics (Berlin), 2021
In this study, we propose a new bound for Jensen's inequality. Under certain conditions, it is an ultimate bound equal to the Jensen gap. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first such bound to be developed.

Effects of leakage delay on global asymptotic stability of complex‐valued neural networks with interval time‐varying delays via new complex‐valued Jensen's inequality

International Journal of Adaptive Control and Signal Processing, 2018
This paper investigates the global asymptotic stability analysis for a class of complex‐valued neural networks with leakage delay and interval time‐varying delays. Different from previous literature, some sufficient information on a complex‐valued neuron

Around Jensen’s inequality for strongly convex functions

, 2016
In this paper we use basic properties of strongly convex functions to obtain new inequalities including Jensen type and Jensen–Mercer type inequalities. Applications for special means are pointed out as well.
