An Attributed Graph Kernel from the Jensen-Shannon Divergence

2014 22nd International Conference on Pattern Recognition, 2014
Bai and Hancock recently proposed a novel information theoretic kernel for graphs, namely the Jensen-Shannon graph kernel. One drawback of their approach is that it cannot be applied to either attributed or labeled graphs. In this paper, we aim to define a new Jensen-Shannon diffusion kernel for attributed graphs.

A dissimilarity measure based on Jensen Shannon divergence measure

International Journal of General Systems, 2018
ABSTRACTThe need of suitable measures to find the distance between two probability distributions arises as they play an eminent role in problems based on discrimination and inferences.

A Graph Embedding Method Using the Jensen-Shannon Divergence

2013
Riesen and Bunke recently proposed a novel dissimilarity based approach for embedding graphs into a vector space. One drawback of their approach is the computational cost graph edit operations required to compute the dissimilarity for graphs. In this paper we explore whether the Jensen-Shannon divergence can be used as a means of computing a fast ...

Anomaly detection in network traffic using Jensen-Shannon divergence

2012 IEEE International Conference on Communications (ICC), 2012
Anomaly detection in high speed networks is well known to be a challenging problem. It requires generally the analysis of a huge amount of data with high accuracy and low complexity. In this paper, we propose an anomaly detection mechanism against flooding attacks in high speed networks.
