Comments on Jensen’s Inequalities
The paper gives generalizations of some Jensen type inequalities for convex functions of one variable. The work is based on the methods which use convex combinations in deriving inequalities. The main inequality is applied to the quasi-arithmetic means.

ABSTRACT This paper investigates the relationship between corporate social responsibility (CSR) and financial performance for European firms, and the moderating roles of industry and country‐specific factors in this relationship. Studying a sample of 2340 companies across 18 countries, we find Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) scores to ...

New Fractional Hermite–Hadamard–Mercer Inequalities for Harmonically Convex Function
In 2003, Mercer presented an interesting variation of Jensen’s inequality called Jensen–Mercer inequality for convex function. In the present paper, by employing harmonically convex function, we introduce analogous versions of Hermite–Hadamard ...

MϕA-h-Convexity and Hermite-Hadamard Type Inequalities
We investigate a family of MϕA-h-convex functions, give some properties of it and several inequalities which are counterparts to the classical inequalities such as the Jensen inequality and the Schur inequality.

Jensen-Feynman approach to the statistics of interacting electrons
Faussurier et al. [Phys. Rev. E 65, 016403 (2001)] proposed to use a variational principle relying on Jensen-Feynman (or Gibbs-Bogoliubov) inequality in order to optimize the accounting for two-particle interactions in the calculation of canonical ...

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between board composition characteristics and ESG performance in companies from BRICS countries, and to assess how sector sensitivity moderates this relationship. A sample of 2045 BRICS companies was examined using panel data regression with random effects and logistic regression ...

A Converse of the Jensen Inequality for Convex Mappings of Several Variables and Applications [PDF]
In this paper we point out a converse result of the celebrated Jensen inequality for differentiable convex mappings of several variables and apply it to counterpart well-known analytic inequalities. Applications to Shannon's and Rényi's entropy mappings

ABSTRACT This research investigates how political ideology shapes laypeople's evaluation of scientific studies examining cognitive differences between groups. In three experiments in Germany and the United States, participants evaluated identical research reports that varied only in the intergroup context—racial (Blacks/Whites) or ideological (liberals/

Application of Functionals in Creating Inequalities
The paper deals with the fundamental inequalities for convex functions in the bounded closed interval. The main inequality includes convex functions and positive linear functionals extending and refining the functional form of Jensen’s inequality.
