The Jerk Dynamics of Chua's Circuit

International Journal of Bifurcation and Chaos, 2014
In this paper, the dynamics of Chua's circuit in jerk form is presented. It is proved that two forms of Chua's circuit in jerk dynamics can be derived. The electronic circuit of the simpler dynamics has been implemented. The link between Chua's circuit and the search for simple jerk circuits has been established, therefore, proposing complex dynamics (

“Moving, Jerking, and Spasm”

2016
Abstract Involuntary movements are described using the following characteristics: rhythm, regularity, displacement by movement, generalized or in the same muscle group, presence or absence with relaxation, and whether the movement is fast, slow, flowing, or resembling spasm.

Jerk Limited Input Shapers

Journal of Dynamic Systems, Measurement, and Control, 2004
The focus of this paper is on the design of jerk limited input shapers (time-delay filters). Closed form solutions for the jerk limited time-delay filter for undamped systems is derived followed by the formulation of the problem for damped systems. Since the jerk limited filter involves concatenating an integrator to a time-delay filter, a general ...

KNEE JERK

Archives of Neurology & Psychiatry, 1931
The literature contains numerous accounts of the effects on the thoracic and abdominal viscera of stimulation of the exteroceptors. There are, however, few accounts of the effects on the neuromuscular apparatus of stimulation of the interoceptors. The early meager literature is referred to in a study of skeletal reflexes induced by stimulation of the ...

Jerk Nystagmus

Optometry and Vision Science, 1979
Abstract Eye movements in a subject with jerk nystagmus were recorded during a variety of tracking tasks using a photoelectric method. New findings included ability to reduce nystagmus amplitude and frequency when instructed “to hold the eye steady” rather than “to fixate” in the presence of a visible target, changes in nystagmus ...
