Jet-in-Slit Test for Studying Erosion-Corrosion
1985“Jet-in-slit” was used for erosion-corrosion tests on 6/4 yellow brass in a 3% sodium chloride solution together with free jet and submerged jet (common nozzle diameter of 1.6 mm). The latter jets are typical testing methods for evaluating the resistance of alloys to erosion-corrosion.

Cavitating Jet Apparatus for Cavitation Erosion Testing
1979A submerged cavitating jet is used to erode a specimen placed in its path. The erosion depends primarily on the jet velocity, the downstream pressure, and the standoff distance of the specimen. An apparatus for erosion testing based on this principle is described. Results are presented showing the effect of these parameters on erosion.

Effect of Water Temperature and Salinity on the Jet Erosion Test (JET) Discharge Coefficient
