Biofabrication aims at providing innovative technologies and tools for the fabrication of tissue‐like constructs for tissue engineering and regenerative medicine applications. By integrating multiple biofabrication technologies, such as 3D (bio) printing with fiber fabrication methods, it would be more realistic to reconstruct native tissue's ...

A comparative study for the impact performance of shaped charge JET on UHPC targets
With the development of two-stage munitions (a precursor shaped charge (SC) and a following kinetic energy projectile) to attack the hard concrete targets, as well as the increasing applications of ultra-high performance concrete (UHPC) in both civil and

Numerical investigations on bubble-induced jetting and shock wave focusing: application on a needle-free injection [PDF]
The formation of a liquid jet into air induced by the growth of a laser-generated bubble inside a needle-free device is numerically investigated by employing the compressible Navier–Stokes equations.

This report presents three experimental devices for quantifying the resistance to external erosion of a dam or dike embankment during overflow. The first is the Jet Erosion Test initially developed at the Agricultural Research Service (ARS, USA), and currently used by GeophyConsult (France) and INRAE (France). The second experimental apparatus concerns

Meniscus Pixel Printing for Contact‐Lens Vision Sensing and Robotic Control
A visual‐sensing contact lens is enabled by meniscus pixel printing (MPP), which rapidly patterns a 200 µm perovskite photodetector pixel in 1 s without masks, vacuum processing, or bulky equipment. A deep‐learning‐based super‐resolution reconstructs sparse on‐lens signals into 80 × 80 high‐resolution visual information, while AI‐driven eye‐tracking ...

A prediction model for the slot depth of high pressure water jet
Coal mines in China are characterized by low permeability, and hydraulic slotting is an effective technique to increase the gas permeability of coal. However, the slot depth cannot be accurately determined, which results in the layout parameters of the ...

Speckle‐Engineered Upconversion Amplification in Nanoemulsion‐Templated Hydrogel Microdomes
Nanoemulsion‐confined PEGDA microdomes generate speckle‐like excitation fields that strongly amplify upconversion luminescence upon dehydration, enabling filter‐free visible readout with reversible on–off switching. DMD‐based lithography yields scalable, shape‐programmable arrays for moisture‐responsive displays and optical encryption.
