Control of a Circular Jet [PDF]
The present study report direct numerical simulation (DNS) of a circular jet and the effect of a large scale perturbation at the jet inlet. The perturbation is used to control the jet for increased spreading.

This work introduces a swelling‐induced, stress‐assisted water‐soluble PVA tape strategy to transfer‐print nanodiamond quantum‐sensor arrays onto soft, curved biological interfaces. The room‐temperature, water‐triggered process achieves >98% fidelity and residue‐free integration, enabling conformal quantum sensing on contact lenses, neural probes, and ...

The incorporation of nondigested ECM and synthetic polymers into a co‐electrospinning system enables the decoupling of bioactivity and mechanical properties within a single wrap. This technique is used to develop a multifunctional bone wrap that achieves augmented membrane durability, sustained infection control, and enhanced vascularity for use in ...

Laminar planar jets of elastoviscoplastic fluids
We perform numerical simulations of planar jets of elastoviscoplastic (EVP) fluid (\citet{saramito2007new} model) at low Reynolds number. Three different configurations are considered: $(i)$ EVP jet in EVP ambient fluid, $(ii)$ EVP jet in Newtonian ambient fluid (miscible), and $(iii)$ EVP jet in Newtonian ambient fluid (immiscible). We investigate the

Jet mixing of fluids in tanks.
An experimental investigation was made of the mixing of liquids in a tank where the liquid jet was injected through a nozzle. The mixing time was defined as the time required to reduce the concentration variation within 1% of the mixed mean value and was measured by an impulse response. The circulation time was also obtained from the response curve. It

Jet Propagation and Mach Cones in (3+1)d Ideal Hydrodynamics
The observation of jet quenching and associated away--side Mach cone--like correlations at RHIC provide powerful ``external'' probes of the sQGP produced in A+A reactions, but it simultaneously raises the question where the jet energy was deposited.
