New Tehniques of Pressure Relief and Permeability Enhancement by Abrasive Jet in Coal Mine Roadways
Pure water jet penetration in hard coal seams is deficient for low rock-breaking efficiency and complex operation. This paper presents two new techniques of pressure relief and permeability enhancement by deep penetration with abrasive jet and by radial ...

Analytical simulation of the far-field jet noise and the unsteady jet flow-field by a model of periodic shedding of vortex ring from the jet exit [PDF]
The construction of a theoretical flow field due to shedding of vortex rings, the identification of the controlling parameters, and the determination of whether the theoretical model successfully simulated the unsteady pressure field near jet (and ...

Real‐Time, Label‐Free Monitoring of Cell Behavior on a Bioelectronic Scaffold
A bioelectronic nanofibrous scaffold is introduced that supports cell growth while enabling real‐time, label‐free monitoring of cellular behavior through impedance measurements. The system correlates electrical signals with cell viability and surface coverage, offering an integrated platform for studying dynamic biological processes and advancing next ...

Numerical Simulation on Jet Characteristic of Supersonic Jet Oxygen Lance
A mathematical model for supersonic jet oxygen lance with axial calculated length 2 200 mm and diametrical calculated length 800 mm is established by using GAMBIT and the numerical simulation study on characteristics of the supersonic jet oxygen lance ...

Jet outbursts, non-thermal pressure, and the AGN jet duty cycle
ABSTRACT We predict the non-thermal pressure (NTP) induced in the cores of galaxy clusters by kinetic jet feedback from an active galactic nucleus (AGN). We model a population of Fanaroff–Riley type I jets when sampling power-law distributions in jet power and age, which we evolve in time with a two-phase jet-lobe model.

Induced pressure distribution of a jet in a crossflow [PDF]
The turbulent flow of a subsonic round jet exhausting perpendicularly from a flat plate into a subsonic crosswind of the same temperature was investigated in the Langley V/STOL tunnel.

Conductance‐Dependent Photoresponse in a Dynamic SrTiO3 Memristor for Biorealistic Computing
A nanoscale SrTiO3 memristor is shown to exhibit dynamic synaptic behavior through the interaction of local electrical and global optical signals. Its photoresponse depends quantitatively on the conductance state, which evolves and decays over tunable timescales, enabling ultralow‐power, biorealistic learning mechanisms for advanced in‐memory and ...
