The Johnson-Cook Constitutive Model of TA19 Titanium Alloy

open access: yesJournal of Physics: Conference Series, 2023
Abstract In order to obtain the stress-strain relationship of the TA19 titanium at 10−3 s−1 to 4100 s−1 strain rates, a quasi-static tests and a Split Hopkinson Bar were performed at room temperature. The Johnson-Cook model analyzed and the parameters in the constitutive equation are fitted according to the experimental data.

Implementation of Johnson–Cook model in EFES program software [PDF]

open access: yesAIP Conference Proceedings, 2018
The article presents the results of approbation of a numerical method for calculating metallic materials under dynamic loading. The mathematical model of the materials behavior, proposed by G. Johnson and W. Cook, was used. This model takes into account the accumulation of damage in the material and describes well the metals fracture under high ...

Plastic temperature-dependent constitutive modeling of pure aluminum diaphragms at large strains by using bulge test

open access: yesJournal of Materials Research and Technology, 2021
A plastic temperature-dependent constitutive model is developed for 0.05 mm thickness pure aluminum diaphragms at large strains by using bulge test method. Rupture strain of the material is recorded below two percent according to tensile tests.
