Subversion of Atypical Mucin Traps by a Spore‐Coat Effector Blocks Cellular Immunity in Drosophila
While the entomopathogenic fungus Metarhizium robertsii can evade insect humoral immunity, its subversion of cellular defenses is still elusive. We identify Eac1 as a spore‐coat protein essential for infecting drosophilids by targeting atypical mucins (Sgf1 and Sgf2), which can entrap spores in a gel matrix and thereby facilitate hemocyte encapsulation.

The study establishes an immune‐cure (ICu) mouse model based on a TMEMed G422TN‐GBM system that faithfully recapitulates human TMEMed GBM. scRNA‐seq analysis reveals a Csmd3+ microglial subset with innate immune memory (IIM) potential that potently suppresses GBM growth, drives a TME cold‐to‐hot transition, and induces 100% ICu in long‐term survival ...

Transposable Element–Driven PIEZO Mutation Enhances Locust Flight in Plateau Hypoxia
Why transposable elements (TEs) persisted or expanded in genomes remains a mystery. Using integrated analysis of TE macro‐ and microevolution in locusts, our results showed that thousands of TE insertions promoted widespread adaptive variation. Subfamilies of candidate adaptive TEs amplified and reshaped species‐level genomic architecture.

Single‐Atom‐Enhanced Fully Inkjet‐Printed Electrochemical Sensor for Dopamine Detection
Fully inkjet‐printed paper‐based dopamine sensors are fabricated using nitrogen‐doped graphene acid functionalized with copper single atoms. The copper sites uniquely enhance dopamine oxidation through strong molecular adsorption, as verified by electrochemical measurements and DFT calculations. The approach highlights the potential of single‐atom inks

"THE EXTRAVAGANT HUMOUR OF STOCK-JOBBING” AND THE MEMBERS OF THE ENGLISH BODY POLITIC, 1690-1720

ABSTRACT Rational actors constantly incorporate information into their decision‐making behavior. Since there is often a time lag between the announcement of a policy and its implementation, an important question arises: when do rational actors incorporate new information into their market behavior, at the announcement or at the implementation of a ...
