Multilevel Behavioral Synchronization in a Joint Tower-Building Task [PDF]

open access: yesIEEE Transactions on Cognitive and Developmental Systems, 2017
Human to human sensorimotor interaction can only be fully understood by modeling the patterns of bodily synchronization and reconstructing the underlying mechanisms of optimal cooperation. We designed a tower-building task to address such a goal. We recorded upper body kinematics of dyads and focused on the velocity profiles of the head and wrist.

Aladdin: Joint Atlas Building and Diffeomorphic Registration Learning with Pairwise Alignment [PDF]

open access: yesComputer Vision and Pattern Recognition, 2022
Atlas building and image registration are important tasks for medical image analysis. Once one or multiple atlases from an image population have been constructed, commonly (1) images are warped into an atlas space to study intra-subject or inter-subject ...

Joint Learning of Contour and Structure for Boundary-Preserved Building Extraction

open access: yesRemote Sensing, 2021
Most of the existing approaches to the extraction of buildings from high-resolution orthoimages consider the problem as semantic segmentation, which extracts a pixel-wise mask for buildings and trains end-to-end with manually labeled building maps ...

Learning to Extract Building Footprints from Off-Nadir Aerial Images [PDF]

open access: yesIEEE Transactions on Pattern Analysis and Machine Intelligence, 2022
Extracting building footprints from aerial images is essential for precise urban mapping with photogrammetric computer vision technologies. Existing approaches mainly assume that the roof and footprint of a building are well overlapped, which may not ...
