Composite Joints in Robust Building Frames [PDF]
Recent events such as natural catastrophes or terrorism attacks have highlighted the necessity to ensure the structural integrity of buildings under exceptional actions. Accordingly, a European RFCS project entitled “Robust structures by joint ductility” has been set up in 2004, for three years, with the aim to provide requirements and practical ...

VIBRATION ATTENUATION AT ASYMMETRIC CROSS‐FORM JOINTS OF BUILDINGS
The aim of the work is to estimate sound energy transmission through asymmetrical crossâ€junctions in buildings. Several kinds of these joints have been investigated. Theoretical calculation model to obtain transmission loss was developed and a system of equations established.

Multilevel Behavioral Synchronization in a Joint Tower-Building Task [PDF]
Human to human sensorimotor interaction can only be fully understood by modeling the patterns of bodily synchronization and reconstructing the underlying mechanisms of optimal cooperation. We designed a tower-building task to address such a goal. We recorded upper body kinematics of dyads and focused on the velocity profiles of the head and wrist.

Flourishing in Resonance: Joint Resilience Building Through Music and Motion [PDF]
Worldwide, children face adverse childhood experiences, being exposed to risks ranging from, exposure to political violence and forced migration over the deleterious effects of climate change, to unsafe cultural practices. As a consequence, children that seek refuge or migrate to European countries are extremely vulnerable, often struggling with ...

Separating finer particles from raw fly ash is a popular method to produce high-performance admixture of concrete. However, the supply of separated fly ash is obviously behind the demand and the residue fly ash is difficult to be disposed. Ground fly ash
