Dimethyl fumarate combined with cisplatin at subcytotoxic doses sensitizes cervical cancer toward ferroptosis and apoptosis through GSH restriction and p53 (re)activation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Dimethyl fumarate (DMF) reduces growth of HPV‐positive cervical cancer spheroids and induces ferroptosis in cervical cancer cells via blocking SLC7A11/Glutathione (GSH) axis. Combination of subcytotoxic doses of DMF and cisplatin (CDDP) further suppresses spheroid growth and drives cell death in 2D culture models.

Identification of (20R)‐protopanaxadiol from Panax ginseng as a novel anti‐SARS‐CoV‐2 compound

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
We established a noninfectious BAC‐based SARS‐CoV‐2 replicon that enables antiviral screening under BSL‐2 conditions. Using this platform, we screened 373 food‐derived compounds and identified (20R)‐protopanaxadiol from Panax ginseng as a novel inhibitor of SARS‐CoV‐2 RNA replication, highlighting the value of safe replicon systems for antiviral ...

Choroid Plexus Enlargement and USPIO‐Based Inflammatory Feature in Cerebral Small Vessel Disease

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective The choroid plexus (CP) is a key component of the blood–cerebrospinal fluid barrier (BCSFB), but its mechanism of action in cerebral small vessel disease (CSVD) remains unclear. This study investigated CP volume (CPV) alterations and their association with conventional imaging markers in CSVD and explored the underlying role of ...

Joint Inversion of Compact Operators

open access: yesJournal of Inverse and Ill-posed Problems, 2018
Abstract Joint inversion of multiple data types was studied as early as 1975 in [K. Vozoff and D. L. Jupp, Joint inversion of geophysical data, Geophys. J. Internat. 42 1975, 3, 977–991], where the authors used the singular value decomposition to determine the degree of ill-conditioning of joint inverse problems. The authors demonstrated

Status and prospects of joint inversion of geophysical electromagnetic data

open access: yes地球与行星物理论评
Geophysical electromagnetic data inversion is a typical underdetermined problem. Due to the limitations of observational data, individual geophysical methods often suffer from significant non-uniqueness and uncertainty, making it challenging to provide ...

Efficient Probabilistic Joint Inversion of Direct Current Resistivity and Small-Loop Electromagnetic Data

open access: yesAlgorithms, 2020
Often, multiple geophysical measurements are sensitive to the same subsurface parameters. In this case, joint inversions are mostly preferred over two (or more) separate inversions of the geophysical data sets due to the expected reduction of the non ...

T1 Over Squared Proton Density Ratio to Characterize Multiple Sclerosis Lesions

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Differentiating remyelinated from demyelinated lesions in MS remains challenging without histological confirmation. This study introduces the T1‐to‐PD2 ratio (TPR) imaging approach and evaluates its ability to characterize MS lesions alongside other quantitative MRI (qMRI) metrics. Methods Thirty individuals with MS (mean age: 47.5 ±

Structural joint modeling of magnetotelluric data and Rayleigh wave dispersion curves using Pareto-based particle swarm optimization: an example to delineate the crustal structure of the southeastern part of the Biga Peninsula in western Anatolia [PDF]

open access: yesNonlinear Processes in Geophysics
It is widely acknowledged that the joint inversion of magnetotelluric and seismological datasets enhances the quality of the crustal structure solution, even when the physical correlation between electrical resistivity and seismic velocity is weak or ...

Observer‐Based Adaptive Event‐Triggered Tracking Control for Fuzzy TS Systems With Premise Mismatch

open access: yesInternational Journal of Adaptive Control and Signal Processing, EarlyView.
This paper presents an adaptive logistic event‐triggered observer‐based tracking controller for Takagi‐Sugeno fuzzy systems under constrained inputs and network delays. Leveraging a hybrid LMI and Secretary Bird Optimization approach, this strategy significantly minimizes communication overhead and computational burden while ensuring optimal reference ...
