Abstract The long head of the biceps tendon (LHBT), as a tendinous structure adjacent to the rotator cuff, can be easily used to repair the rotator cuff. Currently, there are many different surgical procedures for the LHBT. Direct severance of the LHBT is simple but may result in pain and deformity, and fixation of the LHBT wastes the tendinous tissue ...

Fresh Talus Allograft Preparation for the Treatment of a Large Off‐Track Hill‐Sachs Lesion
Abstract Large off‐track Hill‐Sachs lesions present a significant challenge in the management of recurrent anterior shoulder instability, particularly in young, active patients. Traditional Hill‐Sachs management procedures include remplissage, coracoid transfer and free bone block reconstruction, which all carry associated limitations, including non ...

Functional knee phenotyping: A paradigm for patient-specific alignment in total knee arthroplasty
Purpose: Total knee arthroplasty has historically relied on mechanical alignment (MA); however, a systematic neutral target cannot accommodate the biological diversity of the knee.

A Modified Arthroscopic Trans‐Septal Approach via the Figure‐to‐4 Position of the Knee
Abstract Standard anterior and posterior portals offer limited access to pathologies in the posterior compartment of the knee. The trans‐septal portal facilitates comprehensive visualization and instrumentation in the posterolateral and posteromedial compartments.

Background: Distribution of CPAK types in Indian knees will help surgeons better understand management of knee arthritis using concept of Kinematic alignment (K.A.). C.P.A.K. uses a matrix of 9 phenotypes of knees based on arithmetic hip knee ankle angle

Abstract Preserving the native joint line obliquity (JLO) during total knee arthroplasty (TKA) may enhance postoperative function. This study compared inverse kinematic alignment (iKA) TKA, which preserves native JLO, with adjusted mechanical alignment (aMA) TKA, which standardizes JLO to 90°, and a healthy control group across eight functional

Abstract This technical note describes using knotless femoral fixation for medial patellofemoral ligament reconstruction for skeletally immature patients. Using a knotless anchor for epiphyseal femoral fixation in the skeletally immature decreases the risk of irritable interference screw fixation and optimizes graft contact with host bone.

Abstract Successful medial collateral ligament (MCL) reconstruction depends on multiple anatomical and biomechanical factors. Various techniques have been described, ranging from isolated superficial MCL reconstructions to complex combined medial reconstructions.

Abstract Combined anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) and medial collateral ligament (MCL) injuries with persistent grade II valgus (Fetto/Marshall classification) or anteromedial rotatory instability pose a significant risk to ACL graft integrity if treated in isolation.
