The conditions of collective freedom: Reworking Black consciousness through Blackwomen's praxis in Apartheid prisons

open access: yesThe Southern Journal of Philosophy, EarlyView.
Abstract In this article, I argue that Black Consciousness philosophy, as articulated by Steve Biko in I Write What I Like (2004), becomes philosophically universalizable only when it is reworked through a Black women's praxis, already enacted by Blackwomen political prisoners under Apartheid.

Targeting ligament boundaries rather than alignment boundaries in augmented‐reality‐assisted total knee arthroplasty ensures comparable gait patterns between operated and contralateral limbs

open access: yesKnee Surgery, Sports Traumatology, Arthroscopy, Volume 34, Issue 10, Page 3664-3674, October 2026.
Abstract Purpose Modern personalised total knee arthroplasty (TKA) techniques aim to mimic natural knee kinematics by focusing on soft‐tissue dynamics rather than static alignment. However, a consistent definition of the optimal ligamentous balance has not yet been established.
