Joint Innervation in Joint Injury
Clinics in Sports Medicine, 1990When considering joint innervation, it is important to appreciate that the joint receptors and the muscle tendon units about the joint interact in a complimentary manner forming a single afferent system. This system remains complex, and its overall function is still relatively unclear.

Joint Spectrum and Joint Distribution
Complex Analysis and Operator Theory, 2012\(({\mathcal A}, \phi)\) is called a noncommutative \(C^\ast\)-probability space if \(\mathcal A\) is a \(C^\ast\)-algebra and \(\phi\) is a state. A state \(\phi\) is called faithful if for any positive \(a\in{\mathcal A}\), \(\phi(a)>0\). The following definition of independence is due to Voiculescu. A family of unital subalgebras \(({\mathcal A}_i)_{

Cracking behavior of rock containing non-persistent joints with various joints inclinations
, 2020Non-persistent joints are commonly observed in the rock mass, and play a significant role in the stability of rock engineering. A detailed understanding of the cracking process is critical for the evaluation and control of the stability of surrounding ...

Best Practice & Research Clinical Rheumatology, 2003
Joint hypermobility is an area of neglect in rheumatology. That is not to say it is overlooked by rheumatologists. It is spotted when sought, but for many unfortunate patients, here the story ends. The act of recognition becomes the goal in itself rather than the medium through which effective therapy can be provided.

The fine-pored, easily compressed articular cartilage provides animal joints with self-pressurized hydrostatic (weeping) lubrication. The solid skeletons of the cartilages press against each other, but so lightly that their rubbing is lubricated successfully by synovial fluid--a boundary lubricant too weak to lubricate ordinary bearings.
