On the Stability of Jordan *-Derivation Pairs [PDF]

open access: possibleResults in Mathematics, 2013
In this article, the Hyers–Ulam stability of Jordan *-derivation pairs for the Cauchy additive functional equation and the Cauchy additive functional inequality is proved. A fixed point method to establish of the stability and the superstability for Jordan *-derivation pairs is also employed.

Jordan derivation of certain Jordan matrix algebras

Linear and Multilinear Algebra, 2008
Let R be an arbitrary 2-torsionfree commutative ring, M(n, R) the matrix algebra consisting of all n × n matrices over R, S(n, R) (resp., D(n, R)) the subset of M(n, R) consisting of all symmetric (resp., diagonal) ones. In this article, we first determine all the Jordan subalgebras of S(n, R) containing D(n, R), then for any given Jordan subalgebra of

Derivation and Jordan operators

Integral Equations and Operator Theory, 1997
VX e s fA(X) = AX - XA; we denote R(~A), R(~A)- and {A}' respectively the range, the norm closure of the range and the kernel of ~A. We denote Af = {A e/:(g) : R(~A)- (2 {A*}' = {0}}. If H is finite-dimensional, Af = s If H is infinite-dimensional, this equality does not hold. So a reasonable purpose is to determine what elements are in N.

Nonlinear ξ-Jordan triple *-derivation on prime *-algebras

Rocky Mountain Journal of Mathematics, 2022
Let A be a prime ∗-algebra and let ξ ∈ C \ {0,±1}. In this paper, it is proved that a mapping φ : A → A satisfies φ(A ξ B ξ C) = φ(A) ξ B ξ C +A ξ φ(B) ξ C +A ξ B ξ φ(C) for all A,B,C ∈ A if and only if φ is an additive ∗-derivation and φ(ξA) = ξφ(A) for

A note on nonlinear mixed Jordan triple derivation on *-algebras

Communications in Algebra, 2022
Let be a unital *-algebra containing a non-trivial projection. In this paper, it is shown that a map Γ: such that for all . Then Γ is an additive *-derivation.
