On the structure of self-affine Jordan arcs in ℝ2
We prove that if a self-affine arc γ∈R2\gamma \in {{\mathbb{R}}}^{2} does not satisfy weak separation condition, then it is a segment of a parabola or a straight line.

Ownership structure and corporate cash holdings in Jordan: the role of government ownership
Using a dataset of 107 listed firms in Jordan from 2009 to 2018, we employed the generalized method of moments (GMM) to examine the effect of ownership structure on the level of corporate cash holdings.

JORDAN STRUCTURE ON PRIME RINGS WITH CENTRALIZERS
Summary: Our object in this paper is to study a generalization of \textit{B. Zalar}'s result [in Commentat. Math. Univ. Carol. 32, No. 4, 609-614 (1991; Zbl 0746.16011)] on Jordan centralizers of semiprime rings by proving the following result: Let \(R\) be a prime ring of characteristic different from 2, and \(U\) be a Jordan ideal of \(R\).

Composite Ti–6Al–4V–epoxy lattice structures are additively manufactured and epoxy infiltrated for cyclic loading. At low lattice volume fractions, hybridization produces synergistic gains in stiffness and energy dissipation. At higher volume fractions, synergy diminishes, although composites still exceed metallic lattices in specific energy ...

This paper presents a digital microfluidics‐based technique for transferring and reconfiguring soft nanomembranes. Laser‐machined nanothin membranes are picked up, transported, and aligned via tailored surface tension and the actuation of water droplets, enabling the development of flexible electronics, the integration of functional materials on 3D ...

Solvent‐Free Thermal Defect Engineering in Molecular Frameworks With Volatile Linkers
Thermal removal of neutral volatile linkers enables precise and solvent‐free generation of metal vacancies in MOFs. This strategy affords redox‐stable, coordinatively unsaturated FeII sites with tunable spin, ligand coordination, and catalytic behavior. The approach offers a general route to design defect‐functional materials through local coordination

Universal realizability of left half-plane spectra
A list Λ={λ1,λ2,…,λn}\Lambda =\left\{{\lambda }_{1},{\lambda }_{2},\ldots ,{\lambda }_{n}\right\} of complex numbers is said to be realizable if it is the spectrum of an entrywise nonnegative matrix AA. The list Λ\Lambda is diagonalizably realizable (Dℛ{

Description of a New Species of Androctonus (Scorpiones, Buthidae) from Jordan
A new scorpion species, Androctonus ammoneus sp. n., is described and illustrated from Zarqa Province, Jordan. Previous reports classified several Androctonus populations in Jordan as A. crassicauda. However, a comparative analysis with the neotype of A.
