Multiscale Imaging Methodology for Surface Morphological Changes in Lithium Metal Anode Using Coupled Operando OM and In Situ EC‐AFM

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
A sequential multiscale imaging methodology integrates operando optical microscopy with in situ electrochemical atomic force microscopy to characterize lithium anode surface evolution during galvanostatic cycling under dual current densities. This unified approach enhances measurement consistency through correlative micro‐to‐nanoscale visualization ...

Frequency-Dependent Schroeder Allpass Filters

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2019
Since the introduction of feedforward−feedback comb allpass filters by Schroeder and Logan, its popularity has not diminished due to its computational efficiency and versatile applicability in artificial reverberation, decorrelation, and dispersive

Exhausting families of representations and spectra of pseudodifferential operators [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
Families of representations of suitable Banach algebras provide a powerful tool in the study of the spectral theory of (pseudo)differential operators and of their Fredholmness.

KCNJ2 is Required for NLRP3 Inflammasome Activation That Drives Allergic Airway Inflammation and Remodeling

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study aims to evaluate the impact of the potassium channel KCNJ2 on asthma development. KCNJ2 promotes NLRP3 inflammasome activation through both Ca2+ influx and K+ efflux in airway epithelial cells, which drives allergic airway inflammation and remodeling, suggesting a promising therapeutic target for asthma.

Magnetic twisted actions on general abelian C*-algebras

open access: yes, 2010
We introduce magnetic twisted actions of X=R^n on general abelian C*-algebras and study the associated twisted crossed product and pseudodifferential algebras in the framework of strict deformation quantization.Comment: 19 ...

Discovery of an Adaptive Neuroimmune Response Driving Itch and Fast Tick Removal with Implications for Preventing Pathogen Transmission

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Itch‐induced tick removal (IITR): An acquired neuroimmune mechanism, itch‐induced tick removal, develops after repeated tick exposure, mobilizing T cells and macrophages at the tick bite site to trigger a rapid scratching response that facilitates timely tick removal within a critical window that precedes the transmission of many tick‐borne pathogens ...

Arbitrary-order non-linear contribution to self-steepening

open access: yes, 2010
Based on the recently published generalized Miller formula, we derive the spectral dependence of the contribution of arbitrary-order non-linear indices to the group-velocity index.

Ultrasound‐Activated Bifunctional Piezoelectric Hydrogel Dressings Promote Infected Wound Healing via Regulating Angiogenesis and Lymphangiogenesis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study developed a double‐network hydrogel with piezoelectric properties, exhibiting excellent antibacterial activity and promoting fibroblast migration, angiogenesis, and lymphangiogenesis through piezoelectric stimulation, thereby accelerating the healing of infected chronic wounds.

Introgressed Variation in TaMYB7‐A1 Drives Graded Dormancy and Climate‐Adaptive Pre‐Harvest Sprouting Resistance in Wheat

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
TaMYB7‐A1 directly activates TaABI5 to enhance ABA signaling and regulate ABA‐GA homeostasis, enforcing seed dormancy. Its superior allele, derived from wild einkorn introgression, harbors a MITE insertion that elevates expression and two amino acid substitutions that enhance transcriptional activity, collectively generating graded PHS resistance for ...

Slow Religion: Literary Journalism as a Tool for Interreligious Dialogue

open access: yesReligions, 2019
Intercultural and interfaith dialogue is one of the challenges faced by society. In a world marked by globalisation, digitisation, and migratory movements, the media is the agora for people of different faiths and beliefs.
