Fluence profiling at JSI TRIGA reactor irradiation facility

open access: yesNuclear Instruments and Methods in Physics Research, Section A: Accelerators, Spectrometers, Detectors and Associated Equipment
We present an analysis of the fluence profile at the JSI TRIGA neutron reactor facility in Ljubljana. For the study, multi-pad Low-Gain Avalanche Diodes (LGADs) are used. The deactivation of acceptor doping in the gain layer implant due to the irradiation, typical of LGAD devices, is exploited to map the fluence profile inside the irradiation channels.

JSIR2S code for delayed radiation simulations: Validation against measurements at the JSI TRIGA reactor

open access: yesProgress in Nuclear Energy, 2020
Abstract Interest on development of computational tools for calculations of radiation field due to decay of radioactive activation and fission products (delayed radiation) has increased in recent years, mainly due to requirements on shutdown dose rate for the future ITER fusion reactor and material testing reactors (MTR), where gamma heating values ...

Extending the panel of inelastic scattering reactions availaible for dosimetry: Definition of the experimental campaign at the JSI TRIGA reactor [PDF]

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences
The epithermal to fast neutron domain lacks reactions to enhance the knowledge of spectrum in this energy range (1 keV to 1 MeV). Previous studies on this topic focused on 94Zr(n, γ) capture and 117Sn(n, n′) inelastic reactions.
