HistopathologyThe new OLGIMA method for histological gastric cancer risk assessment is based on the severity of glandular atrophy and intestinal metaplasia, in both antrum and corpus, according to the Updated Sydney classification. The highest score of either atrophy or intestinal metaplasia from each location will be used for the final OLGIMA stage.
