Straightforward Method to Orient Black Phosphorus from Bulk to Thin Layers using a Standard Green Laser

open access: yesChemNanoMat, Volume 11, Issue 9, September 2025.
The angle resolved polarized Raman spectroscopy setup in the black phosphorus crystal frame. Polar plots of Ag1 and B2g modes reveal the material's orientation, which is compared with bulk and flake orientations from electron imaging and diffraction. This validates the orientation method using a simple single‐wavelength (514 nm) setup.
