This study details the adaptations required to establish a long‐term anesthetic protocol in pigs. Three protocols were evaluated, with some causing malignant hyperthermia, hypoglycemia, or hemoynamic instability. The final protocol proved effective for developing a porcine AKI model requiring adequate arterial pressure maintenance.

Hemodialysis as emergency treatment of a severe baclofen intoxication in a 3 kg dog
This is the first case report describing the clinical efficacy and safety of HD as emergency therapy for severe baclofen intoxication in a dog. Dialytic elimination rate constant (Kd) was 7 times higher than the intrinsic elimination rate constant (Kintr) and the half‐life (t½) during HD was nearly 9 times shorter than the endogenous one.
