We report the fast generation of biocompatible solutions of highly 13C‐hyperpolarized (≈11%) partially‐deuterated ketoisocaproate within <6 min using spin‐lock‐induced crossing and reversible exchange with parahydrogen (SLIC‐SABRE). This enables rapid detection of branched‐chain‐amino‐acid transferase 1 (BCAT1) protein expression and investigation of ...

The omega-limit sets of quadratic Julia sets
In this paper we characterize $\w$-limit sets of dendritic Julia sets for quadratic maps. We use Baldwin's symbolic representation of these spaces as a non-Hausdorff itinerary space and prove that quadratic maps with dendritic Julia sets have shadowing, and also that for all such maps, a closed invariant set is an $\w$-limit set of a point if, and only

A multi‐omics framework combining multitissue genome‐wide association studies, metabolomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, and functional validation uncovers the genetic basis of specialized metabolism in quinoa. The study identifies hundreds of metabolite‐associated loci, prioritizes candidate genes for saponin, betalain, and flavonoid biosynthesis ...

On the continuity of Hausdorff dimension of Julia sets and similarity between the Mandelbrot set and Julia sets [PDF]
Summary: Given \(d \geq 2\) consider the family of polynomials \(P_c(z) = z^d + c\) for \(c \in {\mathbb C}\). Denote by \(J_c\) the Julia set of \(P_c\) and let \({\mathcal M}_d = \{ c \mid J_c \text{ is connected}\}\) be the connectedness locus; for \(d = 2\) it is called the Mandelbrot set.

Continuous‐Flow Microfluidic Synthesis Enhances C2+ Selectivity for Cu2O Catalysts
Microfluidic devices are used to prepare Cu2O nanoparticles under laminar flow conditions, which exhibit enhanced selectivity in the CO2‐to‐C2+ reaction due to their nanoporosity and high defect concentration. Cu2O prepared using standard solution methods displays decreased CO2‐to‐C2+ selectivity due to the absence of similar properties. Altogether, we

Quartic Julia sets including any two copies of quadratic Julia sets
Let \(P\) be a polynomial of degree \(d\geqslant 2\) and denote by \(K(P)\) the filled-in Julia set of \(P\), which is the set of points that have bounded orbit under iteration by \(P\). It is well-known that if all finite critical points of \(P\) escape to infinity, then \(K(P)\) is totally disconnected, while \(K(P)\) is connected if and only if all ...

Probing Electrocatalyst Design for Product Selectivity in CO2 Reduction
Selective CO2 electroreduction is controlled by catalyst structure, dynamic surface reconstruction, adsorbate interactions, and reaction microenvironment. This review summarizes Cu‐ and non‐Cu‐based catalysts, single‐atom and molecular systems, degradation pathways, and operando/computational strategies for steering CO2RR toward hydrocarbons ...

ABSTRACT In recent decades, agriculture has become increasingly concentrated through horizontal mergers and acquisitions via corporate entities, and policy makers are concerned this will be exacerbated by the aging population of farm operators. To reduce market concentration in agriculture, many states have enacted policies to entice new prospective ...

Predictive Registry Optimization of Molecular Adsorbates on Solid Surfaces
Local C–H “spikes” from a π‐conjugated backbone lock into graphene “pockets”. A geometric registry score turns images obtained by scanning tunneling microscopy at the solid/liquid interface into atomic‐scale adsorption models, enabling assignment of surface atropisomers in large π‐conjugated molecules.
