Loss of IGF‐1R impairs DNA‐PKcs recruitment to chromatin leading to defective end‐joining
IGF‐1R promotes radioresistance by facilitating DNA‐PKcs recruitment to chromatin, enabling non‐homologous end‐joining (NHEJ) repair of double‐strand breaks. Inhibition or loss of IGF‐1R disrupts this recruitment to damage sites, driving compensatory reliance on microhomology‐mediated end‐joining (MMEJ) repair.

The Jump Component of the Volatility Structure of Interest Rate Futures Markets: An International Comparison [PDF]
We propose a generalization of the Shirakawa (1991) model to capture the jump component in fixed income markets. The model is formulated under the Heath, Jarrow and Morton (1992) framework, and allows the presence of a Wiener noise and a finite number of

Pair‐wise comparison of the CellSearch and FETCH enrichment technologies for circulating tumor cells (CTCs) from metastatic breast, prostate, and small cell lung cancer patients shows an increased capture of CTCs using FETCH enrichment. The clinical implementation of circulating tumor cells (CTCs) as a predictive tool for therapy efficacy in the ...

A jump-diffusion Libor model and its robust calibration [PDF]
In this paper we propose a jump-diffusion Libor model with jumps in a high-dimensional space (Rm) and test a stable non-parametric calibration algorithm which takes into account a given local covariance structure.

The novel styrylquinazolinone‐based molecule W1B effectively suppresses glioblastoma by inhibiting IGF1R and EGFR. In high‐glucose microenvironments driving tumor resistance, W1B acts synergistically with the EGFR inhibitor dacomitinib. This combination safely blocks compensatory survival signaling in zebrafish xenograft models. Showcasing promising in

A Jump Diffusion Model for Option Pricing with Three Properties: Leptokurtic Feature, Volatility Smile, and Analytical Tractability [PDF]
Brownian motion and normal distribution have been widely used, for example, in the Black-Scholes-Merton option pricing framework, to study the return of assets.

Oncogenic DMTF1β promotes cancer cell motility by regulating autophagy through ULK1 stabilization
In the current study, we demonstrate that the oncogene DMTF1β regulates ULK1 stability by reducing its proteasomal degradation in cancer cells. This stabilization enables ULK1 to induce autophagy, which in turn facilitates cancer cell migration. Consequently, reduced DMTF1β levels lead to decreased autophagy and impaired cancer cell migration.

Path dependent option pricing under Lévy processes applied to Bermudan options
A model is developed that can price path dependent options when the underlying process is an exponential Lévy process with closed form conditional characteristic function. The model is an extension of a recent quadrature option pricing model so that it

Patient‐derived organoids (PDOs) from pancreatic, colorectal, and gastric cancers were used to evaluate standard and experimental therapies. Incorporating cancer‐associated fibroblasts (CAFs) into organoid cultures improved patient therapy outcome prediction.
