Directional Latent Hybridization: Beyond Random Noise in Physics‐Informed Generative Inverse Design of Nonlinear Metamaterials

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
A physics‐informed generative framework introduces Directional Latent Hybridization (DLH) for the deterministic inverse design of nonlinear metamaterials. By hybridizing dominant traits from parent geometries in the latent space, DLH overcomes the instabilities of stochastic models to ensure high structural precision at high densities.

Towards Dissecting The Complexity of The AP-1 (Activator Protein 1) Family

open access: yes, 2004
The transcription factors called Activator Protein-1 (AP-1) collectively are dimers of two subunits derived from the Fos, Jun and ATF families1. Dimerization is mediated by the bzip domain of the subunits.

Defect‐Engineered ZnO Nanowire Arrays for Flexible Room‐Temperature Hydrogen Sensors

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
Fabrication process of patterned ZnO nucleation sites on a flexible polyimide (PI) substrate. Top/tilted‐view SEM images of ordered ZnO nanoflower arrays confined within patterned circular regions. AFM topography map with height data revealing a disk‐array structure, where the patterned regions (marked by a red dot circle) are elevated by ∼2 µm ...

JUN mRNA translation regulation is mediated by multiple 5' UTR and start codon features.

open access: yesPLoS ONE
Regulation of mRNA translation by eukaryotic initiation factors (eIFs) is crucial for cell survival. In humans, eIF3 stimulates translation of the JUN mRNA which encodes the transcription factor JUN, an oncogenic transcription factor involved in cell ...

EGb induced c-Jun degradation.

open access: yes, 2013
Chondrocytes were pretreated with or without various concentrations of EGb for 72-1 for another 15 min. The total cell lysates were prepared and the levels of c-Jun, phosphorylated c-Jun, c-Fos and β-actin were determined by western blot (A). In (B), the

Spatially Configurable Conformal Sensor Integration on an Ultra‐Fine Metallic Needle for Minimally Invasive Deep‐Tissue Oxygen Monitoring

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
A multi‐point oxygen‐sensing ultra‐fine needle (MO‐UFN) is developed by conformally integrating a lithographically patterned flexible electrochemical sensor array onto a clinical acupuncture needle. The platform preserves an approximately 0.3 mm diameter while enabling spatially resolved oxygen profiling along the insertion pathway.
