Study on Coal’s Green Mining Technology Roadmap of Jurassic Coalfield in Northern Shaanxi

Advanced Materials Research, 2014
Jurassic coalfield in northern Shaanxi is a typical ecologically fragile area. In recent years, with the rapid development of coal mining industry in this area, the environmental problems were caused by coal mining have become so serious that threat seriously to the sustainable development of northern Shaanxi. In this paper, the research team use multi-

Elements and phosphorus minerals in the middle Jurassic inertinite-rich coals of the Muli Coalfield on the Tibetan Plateau

International Journal of Coal Geology, 2015
Abstract The content, modes of occurrence, and origin of elements and phosphorus minerals in the Jurassic coals of the Muli Coalfield, on the Tibetan Plateau, were investigated using optical microscopy, field emission-scanning electron microscopy in conjunction with energy-dispersive X-ray spectrometry, X-ray powder diffraction, X-ray fluorescence ...

Occurrence of analcime in the middle Jurassic coal from the Dongsheng Coalfield, northeastern Ordos Basin, China

International Journal of Coal Geology, 2018
Abstract This paper describes the occurrence of significant authigenic analcime (NaAlSi2O6·H2O) in the middle Jurassic coal from the northeastern Ordos Basin and discusses its origin. Twelve coal samples from borehole ZK31-19 in the Dongsheng Coalfield were collected and analyzed.

Organic geochemical characteristics and their roles on barium enrichment in the No. 2 Coal from Huanglong Jurassic Coalfield, China

World Journal of Engineering, 2015
This paper describes the organic geochemical characteristics and their roles on barium enrichment in the No. 2 Coal from Huanglong Jurassic Coalfield, China. A total of 18 bench samples were taken from Huangling Mine 2. The average content of barium (3701 mg/kg) was about 23 times higher than that of common world coals.

Permian, Jurassic and Early Cretaceous palynofloral assemblages from subsurface sedimentary rocks in Chuperbhita Coalfield, Rajmahal Basin, India

Review of Palaeobotany and Palynology, 2001
The results of a palynological analysis of the sedimentary sequence of Borehole RCH-151, Chuperbhita Coalfield, Rajmahal Basin, Bihar are presented here. The borehole penetrated the Rajmahal Formation (comprising two traps sandwiching an intertrappean bed), the thinly represented Dubrajpur Formation and in its lower part, the Coal Measures.

Mechanism and Control of Water Inrush from Separated Roof Layers in the Jurassic Coalfields

Mine Water and the Environment, 2021
Theoretical analysis, numerical simulation, and borehole drilling were used to study the mechanism of four large-scale water inrush events that occurred during the mining of the 1121 working face in the Hongliu coal mine in the Ningdong mine area. We concluded that the working face inrush was induced by water in the bed separations formed by overlying ...

Petrographic characteristics and peat environments of Gashun mine (Jurassic), Hoxtolgay coalfield, China

World Journal of Engineering, 2013
Twenty-two coal samples and eleven parting samples were taken from Gashun Coal Mine, Hoxtolgay coalfield, Xingjiang Autonomous Region, and the samples were analyzed by using optical microscopy. The results indicate that the dominant macerals are vitrinite (av. 76.6%) with minor amounts of inertinite (av. 18.84%) and low liptinite (av. 2.7%), along with

Hydrogeological characteristics and mechanism of a water-rich coal seam in the Jurassic coalfield, northern Shaanxi Province, China

Arabian Journal of Geosciences, 2020
The Yuheng mining area of the Jurassic coalfield in northern Shaanxi Province is one of the most important coal-producing regions in China. The present study examines the mechanism of a water-rich coal seam in this area, namely, the No. 2 water-rich coal seam of the Balasu coal mine, by using the groundwater aquifers.

Fuzzy comprehensive risk evaluation of roof water inrush based on catastrophe theory in the Jurassic coalfield of northwest China

Journal of Intelligent & Fuzzy Systems, 2019
The risk assessment of roof water inrush is of great significance for sustainable development of mine and ecological environment. Taking the Jurassic coalfield in northwest China as an engineering background, we firstly selected nine indexes influencing roof water inrush based on three essential conditions with the water source, the water inrush ...
