Geochemical characteristics and paleoenvironmental significance of the Xishanyao Formation coal in the eastern Junggar Basin [PDF]
The Junggar Basin is an important coal-bearing basin in northwestern China. The coalfield in the east of the Junggar basin is an important part of the large Xinjiang coal base, and contains rich coal resources.

REE characteristics of the coal in the Erlian Basin, Inner Mongolia, China, and its economic value
The rare earth elements (REE) content of the coal in the Erlian Basin was determined by inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS), and it turns out that the REE content from different geological age shows a significant difference: The REE ...

Evaluation of carbonification of coals using a portable Raman spectrometer
This study illustrates that it is possible to discriminate among the coals of different degrees of maturation of the carbonaceous matter and other types of carbonaceous matter using the data acquired with a portable Raman spectrometer using spectroscopic parameters: D and G band widths and wavenumber positions.

The Pliensbachian Stage mainly developed as a fluvial‐lacustrine depositional system and an evolution history from braided fluvial to meandering fluvial, then to lacustrine, and finally back to meandering fluvial was reconstructed. We suggest that climate change is the major controlling factor for depositional evolution during the Pliensbachian.

A study on the stability of weakly cemented layered floor. Abstract Given the deformation and instability of the layered floor of weakly cemented soft rock roadway, taking the mining roadway of Meihuajing Mine as the engineering background, the deformation and instability mechanism of the floor and the control measures of the surrounding rock under ...

Palaeoclimatic influence on lake palaeoenvironment and organic matter accumulation in the Middle Jurassic Shimengou formation (Qaidam basin, NW China) [PDF]
The formation and accumulation of lacustrine organic-rich shales are strongly related to palaeoclimate and palaeoenvironmental conditions. Middle Jurassic organic-rich lacustrine shales in the Qaidam Basin, NW China, are important source rocks for ...
