Dermatofibrosarcoma Protuberans in Children: Favorable Outcomes Using Wide Local Excision
Pediatric Dermatology, EarlyView.ABSTRACT Background
Dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans (DFSP) is a rare and locally aggressive cutaneous sarcoma. Surgical excision remains first‐line therapy, including for pediatric patients. However, given the rarity of DFSP, specific treatment recommendations for children have not been well defined. To inform pediatric‐specific management, we analyzed Jawad Aqeel, Claire E. Experimental Physiology, EarlyView.Abstract
This study investigated whether performing a translatable murine model of concurrent training after tumour induction affects adaptations in juvenile male and female tumour‐bearing mice. Male and female Balb/c mice were injected bilaterally with colon‐26 adenocarcinoma (C26) cells or PBS at 8 weeks of age.Stavroula Tsitkanou, Pieter Koopmans, Calvin Peterson, Ana Regina Cabrera, Ruqaiza Muhyudin, Francielly Morena, Sabin Khadgi, Eleanor R. Deletion Associated With Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis: Expanding the Phenotypic Spectrum of Hypoparathyroidism, Sensorineural Deafness, and Renal Dysplasia (HDR) Syndrome
American Journal of Medical Genetics Part A, Volume 200, Issue 3, Page 733-737, March 2026.ABSTRACT
Hypoparathyroidism, sensorineural deafness, and renal dysplasia (HDR) syndrome is caused by pathogenic variants in the GATA3 gene located on chromosome 10p14. Here we present a 10‐year‐old girl with HDR syndrome who also has oligoarticular juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA).Lauren N. Meiss, Amanda V. Karam, Julia Shalen, David E. Tunkel, Belina Y.
