Using time‐series remote sensing to identify and track individual bird nests at large scales

Time‐series airborne imagery can potentially track individuals over time to collect information beyond one‐off counts. Using weekly UAS‐based imagery of wading bird colonies, we develop an automated approach to identifying nests. Big Bird: A global dataset of birds in drone imagery annotated to species level
