Microwave Power Leveler for K Band
Review of Scientific Instruments, 1964A device has been developed for regulating milliwatts of microwave power in the 24-kMc region. The power leveler has been shown to operate over the electronic sweep range of a K-band reflex klystron, and to regulate power to within ±0.5%.

K-band adjustable noise generators
Instruments and Experimental Techniques, 2012K-band (18–37 GHz) adjustable noise generators based on waveguide matched loads are presented. The physical temperature of the load absorber is maintained at a specified level with accuracy no more than ±0.007 K by a digital multichannel temperature-stabilized system.

Silicon micromachined K-band filters
2012 International Conference on Computing, Electronics and Electrical Technologies (ICCEET), 2012This paper describes a substrate integrated waveguide (SIW) based filter at K band frequency on silicon substrate. TMAH etching is used to form the via-holes for SIW cavities. Simulations and comparison of TMAH and Deep reactive ion etching (DRIE) etched cavity has been presented.

This paper will report on the structure and performance of GaAs FETs developed for K-band applications. A power output of 27dBm was obtained with 5dB gain at 21GHz. A novel low loss waveguide to microstrip transition was used in the measurement. Its design will be described.

Multielement patch antenna for K-band
2012 13th International Radar Symposium, 2012The construction and parameters of the multielement patch antenna have been presented in the paper. The planar antenna for K-band has been designed. The antenna structure on the patch radiation elements was leaned. Radiation elements in two array configuration: rectangular 4×4 and circular 24-elements have been configured.
