Multiple Coagulation Factor Deficiency: A Series of Eight Cases [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Clinical and Diagnostic Research
Multiple Coagulation Factor Deficiency (MCFD) is an uncommon haematological disorder characterised by simultaneous deficiency of multiple clotting factors, which leads to an increased risk of bleeding and compromised haemostasis. The present series aimed

k-Factorization

open access: yes, 1995
I review the k-factorization method to combine the high-energy behaviour in QCD with the renormalization group. Resummation formulas for coefficient functions and anomalous dimensions are derived, and their applications to small-x scaling violations in structure functions are briefly discussed.

OPEN CHARM PRODUCTION IN HADRONIC AND HEAVY-ION COLLISIONS AT RHIC AND LHC ENERGIES TO $O(\alpha_s^3)$ [PDF]

open access: yes, 1995
We present results on rapidity and transverse momentum distributions of inclusive charm quark production in hadronic and heavy-ion collisions at RHIC and LHC energies, including the next-to-leading order, $O(\alpha_s^3)$, radiative corrections and the ...

Psychosocial Outcomes in Patients With Endocrine Tumor Syndromes: A Systematic Review

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Introduction The combination of disease manifestations, the familial burden, and varying penetrance of endocrine tumor syndromes (ETSs) is unique. This review aimed to portray and summarize available data on psychosocial outcomes in patients with ETSs and explore gaps and opportunities for future research and care.

Rooftop and indoor reception with transmit diversity applied to DVB-T networks: A long term measurement campaign [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
Although transmit Delay Diversity (DD) can provide a gain in indoor and other Non Line of Sight situations (NLOS), it can introduce degradation in rooftop reception. In fact, when the Ricean K factor of the channel is significantly high (e.g.

Nutritional and Behavioral Intervention for Long‐Term Childhood Acute Leukemia Survivors With Metabolic Syndrome

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Purpose Metabolic syndrome (MetS) is a common complication in survivors of childhood acute lymphoblastic and myeloid leukemia (AL), and a major risk factor for premature cardiovascular disease, type‐2‐diabetes, and metabolic dysfunction‐associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD).

On k-factor-critical graphs

open access: yesDiscussiones Mathematicae Graph Theory, 1996
Summary: A graph is said to be \(k\)-factor-critical if the removal of any set of \(k\) vertices results in a graph with a perfect matching. We study some properties of \(k\)-factor-critical graphs and show that many results on \(q\)-extendable graphs can be improved using this concept.
