The myricetin‐bound crystal structure of the SARS‐CoV‐2 helicase reveals a conserved allosteric binding site. Guided by these structural insights, caffeic acid derivatives identified through virtual screening were experimentally validated as novel natural inhibitors of NSP13.The SARS‐CoV‐2 helicase NSP13 is a highly conserved and essential component of

Sufficient reproduction numbers to prevent recurrent epidemics
Abstract Current practice in the design and evaluation of control measures in disease ecology and epidemiology, including vaccination, is largely based on reproduction numbers (RNs), which represent prognostic indices of long‐term disease transmission, both in naïve populations (basic RN) and in the presence of prior exposure or infection containment ...

Revealing Kinetic Features of a Macrocyclization Reaction Using Machine‐Learning‐Augmented Data
A phrase closely associated with machine learning simulations, “to predict is not to explain”, can be rephrased as “to predict can be to explain” by integrating physicochemical, least‐squares fitting studies of kinetics with machine learning predictions.

Derivatives of MOPS: promising scaffolds for SARS coronaviruses Macro domain‐targeted inhibition
The SARS‐CoV/CoV‐2 genome encodes non‐structural protein 3, which contains a ‘Macro domain’. This protein domain exhibits antagonistic activity against interferon signaling, which disrupts the host innate immune response and can thus mediate viral escape, highlighting its therapeutic potential.
