Inference Based on k-Record Values from Generalized Exponential Distribution
In this paper, the lower k-record values arising from a two parameter generalized exponential distribution is considered. The maximum likelihood estimators for the shape parameter and scale parameter are obtained.

Characterization of Bivariate Distributions Using Concomitants of Generalized (k) Record Values
In this paper we have derived some properties of concomitants of generalized (k) record values which characterize the generalized Morgenstern family of bivariate distributions.

Rényi entropy of past lifetime from lower K-record values
This paper explored the concept of past Rényi entropy within the context of $ k $-record values. We began by introducing a representation of the past Rényi entropy for the $ n $-th lower $ k $-record values, sampled from any continuous distribution ...

Some new results involving residual Renyi's information measure for k-record values
This article dealt with further properties of the Renyi entropy and the residual Renyi entropy of $ k $-record values. First, we discussed the Renyi entropy order and its connection with the usual stochastic and dispersive orders.

On the Maximum Likelihood Estimation of Extreme Value Index Based on k-Record Values
In this paper, we study the existence and consistency of the maximum likelihood estimator of the extreme value index based on k-record values. Following the method used by Drees et al.

Improving the bias of a pseudo-maximum likelihood estimate of the extreme value index by k-records
The paper focusses on the estimation of the extreme value index in terms of k-records based on a maximum likelihood approach, which is suggested recently by Louzaoui and El Arrouchi (J Probab Stat, 2020).

In this paper, we study the marginal distribution of concomitants of k-record (KR) values from generalized Farlie–Gumbel–Morgenstern (GFGM) of bivariate distributions. In addition, the joint distribution of concomitants of KR for this family is obtained.

AbstractIn this paper, the marginal distributions of concomitants ofk-record values based on Sarmanov family of bivariate distributions are obtained, as an extension of several recent papers. Besides, we derive the joint distribution of concomitants ofk-record values for this family.
