Two new members of Tridactylidae (Orthoptera: Caelifera) from mid-Cretaceous Kachin amber

Two new members of Tridactylidae Brullé, 1835 are described based on specimens found in mid-Cretaceous Kachin amber from Northern Myanmar. Duappendactylus melanocephalus gen. et sp. nov. is assigned to the family based on its two-segmented cerci and inflated mesotibia.

A new ismarid wasp (Hymenoptera, Diaprioidea) from mid-Cretaceous Kachin amber

The first undoubted discovery of a parasitoid ismarid wasp from Cenomanian Kachin amber is presented here. A new genus and species, Thyburia christophi gen. et sp. nov., is described and illustrated, based on a female holotype. A new mid-Cretaceous Apsilocephalidae (Diptera) with elongated mouthparts from Kachin amber

A new Cretaceous apsilocephalid genus and species, namely †Protapsilocephala longisetosa gen. et sp. nov. (Apsilocephalidae) is described from mid-Cretaceous Kachin amber (~99 Ma). Its mouthpart morphology indicates a nectarivorous feeding habit, suggesting a role as a pollinator during the Cretaceous.

A new genus and species of Hebridae, Archaeohebrus alius gen. et sp. nov., is described from the Late Cretaceous Kachin amber. The new genus is assigned to the Hebridae based on the bucculae elevated posteriorly forming a pair of ridges, short transverse mesoscutellum, and triangular metanotal elevation.
