Effects of Chemotherapeutic Agents (5‐Fluorouracil, Cisplatin and Methotrexate) on Cell Adhesion Molecules and Oxidative Damage Markers in Rat Kidney Tissue

open access: yesBasic &Clinical Pharmacology &Toxicology, Volume 138, Issue 6, June 2026.
Chemotherapy with 5‐fluorouracil, cisplatin or methotrexate induces significant renal oxidative stress, DNA damage and dysregulation of apoptosis‐ and cell adhesion‐related proteins in rats. Cisplatin causes the most severe oxidative injury, whereas methotrexate predominantly alters apoptotic and cell adhesion pathways.

Developing an Artificial Intelligence Model to Determine Misconceptions About Cell Division of Secondary School Students

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Education, Volume 61, Issue 2, June 2026.
ABSTRACT The aim of this study is to develop an AI‐based model to identify students' misconceptions about mitosis and meiosis and to evaluate their responses to open‐ended questions. The sample consisted of 400 secondary school students in a city in eastern Turkey. Two open‐ended questions with answers rated from 0 to 3 by the teacher were prepared and

DNA Metabarcoding Reveals Unexpected Predator–Prey–Microbial Dynamics in the Southern Right Whale (Eubalaena australis)

open access: yesMolecular Ecology, Volume 35, Issue 12, June 2026.
ABSTRACT Southern right whale (Eubalaena australis; SRW) populations are recovering from the impacts of commercial whaling, however, recovery has been spatially variable, with strong associations between reproduction and prey availability. The diet of SRWs has not been widely examined, and with SRW foraging shifting away from high‐latitude foraging ...

FvMAPK6‐Mediated FvMYB44s/FvSWEET1 Dual‐Layer Regulation Modulates Sugar Accumulation in Strawberry Fruit, With FvSPS3 Enabling Quality–Yield Balance

open access: yesPlant Biotechnology Journal, Volume 24, Issue 6, Page 4221-4239, June 2026.
ABSTRACT Sugar content is a key determinant of fruit quality, and sugars also act as signalling molecules that regulate ripening processes, including anthocyanin accumulation. However, the molecular mechanisms underlying sugar accumulation and sugar signal‐mediated ripening remain incompletely understood.

Subjectivity and Perspectivism in Press and Literature: Analysis of Franz Kafka's The Judgment

open access: yesEstudios de Teoría Literaria, 2020
Kafka's literature is constructed by jumps and images that overlap and reflect antagonistic points of view, impossible to reconcile in a linear discourse. Thus, the story entitled The Judgment (Das Urteil) shows that every point of view claims as its own
