Weak‐Story Mitigation and Drift Redistribution in Moment‐Resisting Frames Using Stepping Rocking Walls

ABSTRACT This study investigates the seismic response of moment‐resisting frames retrofitted with a stepping rocking wall, with emphasis on weak‐story mitigation and residual drift reduction under both ordinary and pulse‐like ground motions. Nonlinear response‐history analyses are conducted on 9‐story and 20‐story SAC Los Angeles frames.

A contribution to the formation of the Karadut Iron Deposit (Kahramanmaraş-Göksun) and its surrounding mineralizations with new findings

Karadut iron mineralization, situated between the Göksun and Elbistan districts in the Eastern Taurus. Many large and small iron deposits and mineralization are distributed across a 40-kilometerregion south of the Sürgü fault.

Among these patients, 118 (26.2%) had DM.

Pollen Morphology of Crucianella L. (Rubiaceae) Based on Light and Scanning Electron Microscope Data and Implications for Taxonomy

This study provides the palynological analysis of 12 Crucianella L. taxa using LM and SEM. Variations in pollen size, aperture number, and exine ornamentation were identified as key traits, demonstrating their taxonomic value for distinguishing closely related species and subspecies within the genus.
