[Tuberculosis control in the Kaliningrad region].
Problemy tuberkuleza, 1997Since 1992, there has been a rise in tuberculosis mortality and morbidity among adults and children in the Kaliningrad region. By 1995, tuberculosis morbidity and mortality have increased by 88 and 92%, respectively. Mortality among children has shown a 2.2-fold increases. The pattern of clinical pulmonary tuberculosis types has become worse.

Hydrological characteristics of small watercourses were analysed within the catchment areas of the Curonian and Vistula (Kaliningrad) lagoons and separately for the rivers flowing directly into the Baltic Sea.
