The goshawk Accipiter [gentilis] superspecies comprises four allospecies, the Northern Goshawk Accipiter gentilis, the Black Sparrowhawk A. melanoleucus, Henst's Goshawk A. henstii and Meyer's Goshawk A. meyerianus.
